Don't break your AR Lower Receiver installing a roll pin!
Many people have broken their receiver trying to install or remove the roll pin for the trigger guard.
It can be almost impossible to repair. This kit allows you to remove your trigger guard any time you want!

This kit is simple to install and you can easily install and remove your guard with no modifications to your lower receiver.
This kit is intended for use with the polymer Magpul MOE trigger guard and replaces the OEM hardware (roll pin & set screw) that comes with the guard.

This kit contains:

  • One 12.9 grade screw for the front of the guard
  • Two 12.9 grade shorter screws for the rear of the guard
  • Poly version includes Two threaded inserts for the rear of the guard
  • Aluminum & Poly version includes Three threaded inserts adding one for the front
  • THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE A TRIGGER GUARD
Instructions for Magpul Poly Trigger Guards:
The front hole does not require any modification. There is only one hole and only one screw for the front.
The rear trigger guard hole must be drilled with a 5/32" bit to make proper room for the inserts.
The smooth side of the insert faces out and the side with the slot faces into the hole, as shown in the pictures.
Carefully press one insert at a time into each side of the rear hole. Keep the insert straight at all times to avoid damaging them.

Instructions for Aluminum and Poly Trigger Guards:
The front hole must be drilled with a 5/32" bit to make proper room for the insert.
The smooth side of the insert faces out on the right side of the guard with the slotted end faceing into the hole.
Carefully press the insert into the right side of the front hole. Keep the insert straight at all times to avoid damaging them.

Tips:
A small arbor press works best but pliers, vice grips, or channel locks work well too if you are careful.
One small screw goes in each side of the rear of the guard into the inserts.

This is an original SRC Product that has been so popular that at least three companies and a dozen or so individuals have coppied my idea and are marketing it as their own. Although I am proud to have such a successfull idea, I ask that you do not support others that have stolen from my way of supporting my family. Thank you.
